School Life - Extra Curricular
It is our belief that a sound, comprehensive education includes teaching pupils to appreciate their own strengths and weaknesses and to be tolerant of those of others; helping them to develop self-reliance and a sense of responsibility towards the community; and giving them the opportunity to explore a wide range of activities which may provide a basis for positive use of leisure. Accordingly, all Bryanstonians participate in adventure education, community and social service and extra-curricular activities.
The challenges of these programmes may culminate in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme and an impressive number of pupils achieve Bronze, Silver and Gold Medals.
In order to give pupils as much experience as possible of their subject, academic departments organise field trips, study visits and modern language exchanges. Other opportunities abroad include sport and music tours and the annual Lower Sixth Form expedition to Nepal.
